Auburn Dec 7th 1857
Friend Blackwell,
Dear Sir,
Yours of the 17th came to hand and I took it as soon as it was out of the mail bag.
In respecting my helping you, I can for a short time. I cannot tell you how long, and if nothing happens I will be there on Saturday or Sunday next.
All well at present.
Mr. Hopkins is very anxious for his son a little sooner.
