1865 VICTORIAN HAIR LYRE ~ ANTIQUE FOLK ART ~ XL SHADOW BOX FRAME w PROVENANCE For Sale

Here is a magnificent example of Victorian hair art. It is preserved and beautifully presented in a 2 1/4" thick wooden frame,16 3/4" square, with double matting. On the back is a paper pocket with the detailed provenace of the piece, starting by the maker Rosa Drexel Wietzel in Naila, Bavaria, Germany in 1865 and making it's way to Youngstown, Ohio in 1996.
