The book contains numerous detailed period illustrations throughout, including full-page engraved illustrations. It concludes onpage 361.

This is an earlyHousehold Edition / first edition thusofDavid Copperfield. It isnot the original 1850 first editionof the novel.

Condition:
Antique pre-owned condition with wear consistent with a book more than 150 years old. The green cloth boards retain attractive black decoration and gilt details. There is wear/rubbing along the edges, corners and spine.

The interior shows age-related toning, scattered foxing/spotting and other signs of age. There issignificant looseness/separation around the frontispiece/title-page area, as visible in the photos, including old tissue/repair material. Binding and pages should therefore be handled carefully.
