This antique 19th-century trade catalogue advertises standard copyright blanks, records and law books, along with a “Daily Calendar of Official Duties” intended for state, county, township, city and school district officers.
The book also contains period listings and information relating to county offices, surveyors, governmental forms and other business and legal materials offered by the historic Topeka publishing company.
Beautiful dark blue cloth-covered binding with ornate gold gilt Crane’s Catalogue design and Topeka, Kansas lettering on the front cover.
The book is more than 135 years old and shows age-related wear. Covers have light rubbing and edge/corner wear. Pages show expected age toning, spotting and handling wear. The front inner hinge/binding area shows age and wear as pictured, but the book remains intact and readable.
A scarce piece of Kansas publishing, legal, governmental and business history dating to 1889.
