Frederick Allen Mills (1869–1948), known as F.A. Mills, was the brother of Kerry Mills and the founder of the F.A. Mills Music Publishing Company. He published “At A Georgia Campmeeting” in 1897, which became one of the most popular cakewalks of its time. An authentic F.A. Mills signature on the cover of this first edition makes this copy especially scarce and desirable for collectors of ragtime, Tin Pan Alley, and early American sheet music.
