These are Colonial 18th - early 19th century half-boots, also called Hi-Lows or "trekkers" with the laces as shown - and with nice, clean, heavy leather soles. The leather sole is with hobnails and heel irons and the shoes are fairly comfortable for being leather re-enacting shoes.These 18th & 19th century military boots are appropriate for wear from the period of the American Revolution up through War of 1812.
