On offer is this beautiful, cased, antique pair of sterling silver & cut crystal knife rests.Presented in their original case, the diamond and hobnail cut crystal is capped by hallmarked sterling silver rims.Each rim is hallmarked: L&S for Levi & Salaman, Birmingham, Sterling, 1901 (b).The retailer mark is on the interior silk lining of the case 'A Saunders Jeweller George St Opp. Railway Station, Sydney'.10cm in length. Diameter at the ends 3cm. With their case, raw unpackaged weight of 337g.In good antique condition. Case shows marks and scuff commensurate with age/use. One has a little ding on the silver at the end. Possibly some small flea bites to the crystal, but given the pattern of the cut you cannot easily identify.
