Beautiful substantial antique reference books featuring dark green cloth bindings, gilt spine lettering and decorative embossing. The books also have striking marbled page edges, which display especially well.
CONDITION
These are more than 100 years old and are being sold in used antique condition.
There is visible shelf and handling wear, including rubbing, scuffing, marks and wear to the cloth covers. One volume has noticeable warping/distortion and heavier scuffing/wear, as shown clearly in the photographs.
There are former library markings, including white call numbers on the spines, stamps/numbers and handwritten notations inside. One photographed inscription appears dated 1946.
Pages show expected age-related toning and wear.
