The boys who save the life of the visitor from Mars (who turns out to be the planet\'s king) are invited to return to Mars, where they have various adventures and help to suppress a revolt. What they do and see there, make a tale well worth reading.
\"The sense that the events of the story were nearly within reach was a feature of the narrative: though the setting is futuristic, Fenton Ash drew on the established African and Asian adventure story framework popular in British Victorian fiction to weave his Martian tapestry. ✨This copy is in good+ condition for its age. The binding is tight, no loose pages, tears, or stains. There is a previous owners name inscribed at the back of the book. Other than that there are no marks within the pages. Some tanning and foxing (small brown spots) on the pages throughout. The cover is nice, bright, and legible, as is the spine. Some slight rubbing is present on the cover and spine. There is some damage to the bottom of the front cover board, possibly due to chewing.
I\'ve seen other copies of this book being sold online for $1000.
This is an opportunity to own a highly collectable and scarce Edwardian Sci-fi book in great condition.
