VAFAKOS – CHICAGO”The composition depicts the Mosque of St. Sophia (Hagia Sophia) in Constantinople above an elaborate gathering of Greek royalty, military figures, clergy and allegorical figures surrounding a large double-headed eagle. The lower portion is titled “The Festival of the Expected Pan-Hellenic Rising.”Measurements:
