The book itself is in Near Fine condition and is exceptionally well preserved for a volumedating to 1912. The binding and interior remain very attractive, and the book is complete withall 16 tipped-in color plates present.
The original glassine protective wrapper is still present. The fragile glassine showsexpected age-related toning, wrinkling, tears and edge losses. Original glassine wrappers of this periodwere inherently delicate and are frequently no longer present.
Also included is the original illustrated publisher\'s box. The box shows considerableage and storage wear, including rubbing, soiling, edge and corner wear, and areas of deterioration.Please see the photographs for its condition.
