Offered here is a 1913-D United States Barber half dollar struck at the Denver Mint. This is a lower-mintage issue, with only 534,000 pieces originally struck.
The coin is circulated but retains clear major design details. The letters of “LIBERTY” remains visible on Liberty’s headband, along with portions of the wreath, facial features and surrounding stars. The reverse retains considerable detail in the eagle, shield, ribbons, arrows and olive branch.
The surfaces show numerous fine hairlines and scratches and likely has been cleaned at some point in the past. There are also areas of greenish surface residue or discoloration, particularly around portions of the reverse left wing/tip.
