Antique Wallace Bros. Silver Co. presentation trophy dating to the early 20th century and associated with a historic Spokane, Washington high school debate competition.
The trophy was presented by the Spokane Club of the University of Michigan to the winners of debates between North Central High School and Lewis & Clark High School.

This is a substantial early Spokane school presentation trophy with connections to North Central High School, Lewis & Clark High School and the University of Michigan's Spokane Club.
PROVENANCE:
Acquired from an individual who obtained the trophy directly from North Central High School when the school was cleaning out its trophy collection.
CONDITION:
Antique condition with considerable age and use-related wear. Silver-plated surface has tarnish, scratches, scuffs, plating wear and discoloration. The bowl/rim has bends/dents and is not perfectly round. Interior has substantial scratching and finish wear. No attempt has been made to straighten, polish or restore the trophy.
