60 pages showing rail facilities as seen from the air in 1926-1927. These photos cover all of the Hudson River rail facilities on the New Jersey side from the NYS&W in Edgewater to the CNJ in Bayonne. Great detail, especially this early.
According to the original letter reproduced in the book, this series of photos was originally ordered by the Pennsylvania Railroad.
A very limited number were produced in 2015 by Conrail for a meeting of the Lexington Group ( \"an educational organization, seeks to promote a dialogue on railroad and transportation history and practice among academicians, practitioners, executives, and others who have a serious interest in the history and tradition of transportation.)
I\'d say probably under 200 copies total, and maybe less than that.
This is the 2nd copy I have personally seen, either original or reprint. A search of /Worthpoint shows that only 4 of these reprint copies have ever been listed here, and the first one sold for a offer of $224.
