For your consideration is a delightful miniature watercolor done in plein air. Verso identifies the artist as Bobbie Tews with a date of 1930. Verso also lists location as Laguna Beach with a notation that the artwork conveys the true color of the ocean in Laguna Beach. Artwork is a post-impressionist oil, on artist’s board.
Artwork is in pristine condition. Rarely do I come across 100 year-old artwork so well cared for. Artwork measures 3.5 x 2.5 inches, and, as noted, is in terrific shape with no conditions to note.
Artwork is housed in its original frame, which is also in amazing condition. Honestly, this is so rare! Out of an abundance of caution, I am going to give the disclaimer that antique frames have age related wear—you can expect the odd scrape, scratch, dent or ding given the frame
