Summary: Trial fit was was very nice. My hinges fit to it nicely. It appears identical to my pitted original. This will chrome plate well. DO NOT HAVE COPPER PLATING DONE, as solution cannot be completely removed from inside the hollow framework (per Sherm's plating). It is said that particular solution will rot it out from the inside!
