1941-1948 ford steering box. This does not have the holes for the column lock so it was likely from a 47 or 48 but will fit 41-48. The shaft could be drilled for the lock collar if needed. The box spins and has very little rotational play at center. It does feel a bit gritty when turning so it will need a good cleaning and possibly new bearings. The threads for the steering wheel look good.
