The star of this listing is the Japanese Military metal plate included inside the pages of a US Navy service member photo album.Google says that the plate carries the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJP) Anchor Stamp with an early Mazda/Toshiba logo. Dated August 1941. The back of the plate is blank. it is about 2.5 inches long.This is an antique1940\'s photo albumfilled with original black-and-white snapshots the photos of a member of the Navy and his family members. It has over 75 photos and it does contain a few scrapbook items like newspaper clippings.Each black paper page contain several mounted photographs featuring portraits, vintage cars and fashion. Pictures in Uniform. Packed with portraits. Each page is still attached to the bindings. Some photos are starting to fade but are in otherwise very nice condition. Some pages in the album are blank.Over 75 photos in total. The album is about an inch thick and pretty well preserved for the age.
