Vintage post-WWII issue featuring a prominent General Douglas MacArthur article by George Creel, including a striking full-page color portrait of MacArthur.
This issue also contains numerous original 1940s advertisements and illustrations, including a colorful Lucky Strike cigarette advertisement, Motorola Auto Radio advertising, and other period advertising throughout.
The cover features a young girl blowing on a dandelion, with cover artwork credited inside the magazine to Ariane Beigneux.
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with considerable age-related wear. Front cover shows staining/spotting, surface wear and creasing. Spine has substantial cracking, rubbing and wear. Lower right corner of the cover is creased/torn and curled. Additional edge and corner wear is present. Interior pages show age toning and general wear but retain strong color, including the MacArthur feature and vintage advertisements.
