The offered card originatesfrom the Menko series designated JCM126 and was produced inconjunction with the U.S. All Star Tour of Japan in 1951. FeaturingNew York Yankees perennial All-Star center fielder Joe DiMaggio,the card was issued in the Land of the Rising Sun at the end of theJoe D\'s storied, Hall of Fame career. One of 11 players featured inthe set, DiMaggio stood head and shoulders above the rest.Incredibly rare, this card was the last one issued during hisplaying days as he announced his retirement from baseball duringthe U.S. Japan Tour.
