Here\'s a great photo collage of Citation from his final career start in the 1951 Hollywood Gold Cup, which of course he won and became the first racehorse in history to earn $1 million. This is an oversized photo at 11\"x14\" (slightly less in visible in the cardboard frame) and the overall size is 16\"x20\". There is a bit of chipping and some dings on the cardboard but nothing too major, especially if you had this framed. It does look like the jockey and trainer\'s name were added to the original, as that ink is darker than the rest. There are also a few faint water spots on the frame, but not on the photo itself. The actual photo is in great condition. Also of note is that the great mare Bewitch ran second to become the top money-winning female horse, and that\'s noted on the photo as well. This came from the estate of Jimmy Jones in a sale after he passed, so it was from his own personal collection and likely hung on his wall.
Please review the photos and use the magnify feature to review the condition. We guarantee satisfaction with the racing items we sell, so if you are not happy with it then it can be returned for a full refund, assuming it is returned in the same condition of course.
