**Rare 1960 BSA A10 Spitfire Scrambler – Factory Race Project / Parts Lot**
**Near-Matching Numbers (Only 3 Digits Apart!)**Up for sale is an incredibly rare, historically significant project and parts lot for a 1960 BSA A10 Spitfire Scrambler. The frame number and engine number are only 3 digits apart, making it safe to assume these core components have remained together for the last 66 years. This was a factory race bike configuration featuring big valves and the desirable 357 cam. While the lot was stored in poor conditions, crucially, **BOTH the engine and the transmission are NOT seized**. The internals appear to be intact. To preserve the integrity of the engine, the cases have not been opened to inspect, avoiding any risk of accidental damage. **IMPORTANT PARTS & CONDITION NOTES:**
* **Engine & Transmission:** Free-spinning and NOT seized. Rods are intact (no pistons).
* **Front End:** The forks are incomplete but **do include the triple trees**.
* **Front Wheel:** Included, but it is in **rough condition**.
* **Stamps Pictured:** Clear photos of the matching numbers and part stamps are included in the listing photos.**SALE TERMS:**
* **Sold as a Complete Lot:** I will not split these parts up under any circumstances. It would be a disservice to the history of this machine to separate them.
