This is a vintage, mid century Lounge Craft Original dress, house dress, or day dress in a light red to salmon pink color with four front pockets. The sleeveless house dress dates to the 1960s or 1970s. The vintage, medium sided dress was designed for everyday wear, easy to launder, machine or hand wash, composed of 50% cotton and 50% polyester. The size tag and laundry directions are still in place. The back of the size tag bares an ILGWU International Ladies Garment Workers Union label in blue. The label helps date the dress. The vintage dress belonged to my grandmother and its in great shape for its age, having been in a closet for the last 40 years. I don\'t see any obvious stains or tears but one of the front pocket buttons is missing. Note that the photos make the dress appear more red than pink, I would classify it as either a light red or a salmon pink.
