This sale is for a private credit card from the 1970s from Machus Restaurants to be used at its roster of four restaurants, most famously at Machus Red Fox, the restaurant infamously associated with the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa.
This card was issued to my father with my mother listed as the authorized user. This private credit card is akin to the chit system used by country clubs of the era, where you charged your purchases to an account and then settled the bill on a monthly basis. This card is a flexible plastic and is very clean on the front with some markings on the back side from rubbing against other credit cards in a wallet.
