1971 Topps Baseball Series 3 Starter Set, Lot of 100, Near Mint or Better.
If you have collected this set, you know how difficult it is to find high-quality cards because of the black borders. All of these cards are NM.
In 1971 Topps issued a total of 752 cards in Six separate series over the course of the baseball season. Because Series 5 and Series 6 were issued later in the season, fewer cards were produced.
Selling from my Personal Collection. I collected from1974 – 1992. A lot of what I am offering I collected when they were issued.Others I bought from a card store that was closing in the mid 90’s. Some Ibought on over the past few years.

Guarantee? Honestly no one can guarantee, even thegrading services. I have been doing this long enough to have a very good idea onwhat to look for. Look for heat signatures for a possible re-seal andespecially look to see that the manufacturer’s roller marks line up. If youhold a pack of cards at an angle in the light, the roller marks should continueon both sides of the wax.
Why pack-and-a-card? It was 1979. I spent most of mysummer buying wax packs with what little money I had. I lived in Atlanta, and Iwanted the Dale Murphy card. I never got it. There is a sort of let down whenyou open a pack of cards and don’t get what you want. I decided to add a cardto minimize that.
