First made by Aurora in 1967, the Tonto and Lone Ranger originally did not sell enough to stay in production and lasted in the catalog for just under a couple of years.They were re-released in 1974 as part of the Comic Scenes model kit collection in completely different packaging.Because of the overall low production numbers, they are somewhat difficult to acquire now, especially factory sealed.
- 1974 Aurora Tonto Comic Scenes, Mint, in Sealed Box: Complete, graphics are bright and overall displays very well. There is some significant box warping due to the shrinkwrap squeezing it for over fifty years. Please check photos for condition!
