Causing a traffic jam Friday afternoon were these refrigeration and air conditioning trucks which were lined up three deep for two to three blocks in front of the University Shell Service Station, 6201 South Claiborne Avenue. Members of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Dealers Association of Louisiana and the Master Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Association insisted they were not there to protest, but just to buy gas from Dan Usner, owner of the station, who is president of the Service Station Association of Louisiana. Police broke up the jam, and within an hour only one refrigeration truck was in the two-block line with other motorists waiting for gas. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 02-23-1974.
