1975 Longines Admiral Automatic Day/Date ref. no. L 636.2It doesn\'t get anymore 1970\'s macho than this beautiful, like-NOS Longines automatic from 1975. The cushion-torneau case is coated in 10 micron gold and shows no signs of wear. The striations that cascade down the sides are perfectly intact as is the signed crown. The watch has an L 636.2 automatic movement with a day/date complication and is basically an offshoot of a Hi-Beat they made around the same time. The silvery-white dial and gold baton markers show no signs of oxidation and neither do the hands. The lume is still functional and the watch keeps excellent time with a 40 hr reserve for a days wearing.35mm (37 to crown)
