1975 Charlotte Hornets Unused Football Tickets
Yes, football. The Charlotte Hornets were part of the World Football League in 1975 (formerly the New York Stars/Charlotte Stars). The league played one full season in 1974 and folded during the 1975 season. In 1975, the games were played at American Legion Memorial Stadium.
This item is a book containing unused tickets. Included are tickets for home games 5-9. Ticket #5 is loose but unused. The 1975 season was supposed to have 18 games but folded after 12. I guess the former owner of this book went to the first 4 home games but the league folded on them for the last 5.
The remaining tickets are:
-Game #5: The Hawaiians
-Game #6: Shreveport Steamer
-Game #7: Portland Thunder
-Game #8: Birmingham Vulcans
-Game #9: Memphis Southmen
The book and tickets are in excellent to like new condition.
