ORIGINAL 1981 THREE’S COMPANY STUDIO AUDIENCE TICKET – CBS TELEVISION CITY
An incredible surviving piece of Three’s Company history from the height of the show’s popularity.
This is an original studio audience ticket for Three’s Company at the legendary CBS Television City, 7800 Beverly Blvd., Hollywood, dated Tuesday, October 6, 1981.
That date is especially significant in Three’s Company history: October 6, 1981 was the Season 6 premiere, when Priscilla Barnes made her debut as Terri Alden, beginning the classic Jack-Janet-Terri era of the series.
The ticket is a fantastic snapshot of the actual production era and prominently names the cast appearing at the time:
John Ritter • Joyce DeWitt • Richard Kline • Priscilla Barnes • Jenilee Harrison • Don Knotts
Even better, the original numbered portion remains completely attached — No. 1546 — along with the printed 5:30 p.m. show time. The reverse retains all of the original studio audience instructions and production/legal language.
This is not a modern reproduction or commemorative ticket. It is vintage studio ephemera created for an actual Three’s Company audience event at Television City more than 40 years ago. Three’s Company was being produced at CBS Television City during this period, making this a tangible artifact directly from the show’s production era.
These were disposable admission pieces — never intended as collectibles or designed to survive decades — which makes finding an intact example today particularly appealing.
A tremendous display piece for a Three’s Company, John Ritter, Don Knotts, classic television, Hollywood or vintage TV memorabilia collection.
