DEADSTOCK / NEW OLD STOCK (NOS)

This pair is being described as vintage deadstock / New Old Stock (NOS). By deadstock, I mean an original vintage garment that appears to have remained unworn and unused from its original period of manufacture, with its original Levi’s retail/flasher tags still attached.

These jeans retain exceptionally dark indigo denim, crisp stitching, original-looking factory hems and their original Levi’s merchandising tags. They show no obvious evidence of normal wear.

Please understand that deadstock describes the garment’s apparent unused/unworn status, not a guarantee of absolutely perfect condition. These jeans are decades old and have been in long-term storage, so minor storage creases, aging or other age-related characteristics may be present. Please examine all photographs carefully.

Provenance: These jeans come from a family-held collection stored for decades in my father’s home. I personally know that this pair was present in the home prior to 1980. The original Levi’s retail/flasher tags remain attached. I have not washed, cleaned, repaired, ironed or altered the jeans.

CONDITION

Exceptional vintage condition with the original Levi\'s retail/flasher tags still attached. The denim remains remarkably dark with very little apparent wear. Stitching and hems appear exceptionally well preserved.

Because I cannot independently verify that these jeans were never worn or tried on, I am not representing them as guaranteed deadstock. Please examine all photographs closely; they form an important part of the condition description.
