## Highly Coveted Condition Rarity - Famous \"No Official Mint Set\" Year!

Why This Coin Commands a Significant Premium:

* **The Infamous 1982 Gap:**

Due to government budget cuts and a historic recession, the U.S. Mint completely suspended the production of official uncirculated Mint Sets in 1982 and 1983.

* **Incredible Scarcity:** Because no pristine sets were saved by the public, the vast majority of 1982-P quarters suffered brutal circulation wear. Finding a high-grade example like this from a regular bank roll or bag is a major numismatic challenge.

* **Registry Grade Quality:** In MS66, this coin exhibits stunning original mint luster, crisp, sharp strikes on Washington\'s portrait, and remarkably clean surfaces for a year notorious for poor production quality.
