A fascinating survivor from the early days of the transforming-robot craze.
This vintage Robot Watch is dated 1984 and remains in its original unopened retail blister packaging. The watch transforms from a wristwatch into a freestanding robot that can also be used as a desk watch.
The original package features colorful period space-and-robot artwork, while the reverse contains the original operating and transformation instructions.
Early Transforming-Robot Era
This watch dates from 1984, an important year in transforming-robot history. Transforming robot watches and toys were already appearing as the U.S. market entered the era that would see Transformers and GoBots become major toy lines during 1984.

Condition
This is an original vintage item and the packaging shows age consistent with long-term storage.
The clear blister has age-related discoloration/yellowing and there is normal light storage wear to the packaging. There is also a small dent/crease near the robot artwork area, which is shown in the photographs.
The watch has not been removed from its packaging or tested. No attempt has been made to install or replace a battery in order to preserve the unopened package.
