Rare original 1984 Select Convertors – Defenders of the Earth “Defender First Track” No. 1554 transforming robot, still factory sealed on its original card.
First Track transforms from robot form into a locomotive/train and comes from Select’s vintage Convertors line. The design has Japanese toy origins and is associated with the Batrain transforming robot produced through Takatoku/Mark before appearing in the American Convertors line.
This example is 100% original factory sealed and has never been removed from the package. The toy remains beautifully presented inside, including its original chrome accessory. The card retains excellent, vibrant graphics and displays extremely well for a toy dating to 1984.
There are some age/storage-related packaging imperfections to note. There is a small tear/flaw to the card underneath the lower portion of the blister, likely from movement of the toy inside the package over the years, as well as a very small amount of lifting/peeling along the bottom edge. There is also normal minor edge and surface wear consistent with age. The original blister remains factory sealed and the toy has never been removed. These imperfections are relatively unobtrusive when displayed; please review the detailed photos for exact condition.
A particularly difficult vintage Japanese-designed transforming robot to find still sealed on its original 1984 Select card, and an excellent piece for a serious Convertors, transforming robot, or vintage 1980s toy collection.
