The 1984-W US Gold $10 Commemorative Olympic Coin is composed of 90% gold and 10% copper, with a total weight of 16.718 grams and a net actual gold weight (AGW) of 0.4837 troy ounces. It was minted by the U.S. Mint at West Point to commemorate the 1984 Olympics. It bears the Olympic logo of five interlaced rings with the host city, Los Angeles, inscribed above the rings and \'Olympiad XXIII\' inscribed at the bottom of the coin.
