This artwork was actually used during the production of the commercial and is not a reproduction or later limited edition.
According to the accompanying Certificate of Authenticity from Mice, Ducks & Wabbits, Inc., the commercial was designed by Bob Weber and animated by Phil Kimmelman, best known for his work on Schoolhouse Rock, making this an appealing piece for collectors of classic American animation.
The cel depicts a courtroom scene from “The Verdict” featuring expressive character animation and retains original production markings.
Finding a complete production setup with the original background, matching drawing, and certificate is significantly less common than finding an individual cel alone.
