Read on for more info and a complete checklist of the cards in this vintage baseball cards set!The 1990 Classic Draft Picks Baseball set is a unique 25-card (plus variations) collection featuring the first-round picks from the 1990 MLB Draft, most notably an early Chipper Jones card, with limited production (150,000 sets) and a special focus on future stars like Mike Mussina. It is notable as Classic's first set not tied to a game or trivia and included early cards of players who became MLB stars, making the Chipper Jones card the key highlight. Key Card: The #1 Chipper Jones card is the set's major draw, as it's an early glimpse of the future Hall of Famer.Other Stars: Also features future stars like Mike Mussina (#20), Carl Everett (#10), Jeromy Burnitz (#17), and Todd Van Poppel (#14).Production: Limited to 150,000 sets, adding to its appeal as a more scarce release.Design: Standard-sized cards with a clean design offering a fresh focus on prospects.Variations: Cards #2 and #22 were not issued, and there were special "P14" variations for Todd Van Poppel.Checklist (Note that cards #2 and #22 were not issued per Variations mentioned above)...1 Chipper Jones Atlanta Braves 3 Mike Lieberthal Philadelphia Phillies 4 Alex Fernandez Chicago White Sox 5 Kurt Miller Pittsburgh Pirates 6 Marc Newfield Uncorrected Error: First name misspelled as "Mark" on front Seattle Mariners 7 Dan Wilson Cincinnati Reds 8 Tim Costo Cleveland Indians 9 Ron Walden Los Angeles Dodgers 10 Carl Everett Uncorrected Error: Last name misspelled "Evertt" on front New York Yankees 11 Shane Andrews Uniform is from the Carlsbad High School Cavemen Montreal Expos 12 Todd Ritchie Minnesota Twins 13 Donovan Osborne St. Louis Cardinals 14 Todd Van Poppel Oakland Athletics 15 Adam Hyzdu San Francisco Giants 16 Dan Smith Texas Rangers 17 Jeromy Burnitz New York Mets 18 Aaron Holbert St. Louis Cardinals 19 Eric Christopherson San Francisco Giants 20 Mike Mussina Baltimore Orioles 21 Tom Nevers Houston Astros 23 Lance Dickson Chicago Cubs 24 Rondell White Montreal Expos 25 Robbie Beckett San Diego Padres 26 Don Peters Oakland Athletics Not Numbered: Chipper Jones Rondell White Set's Checklist Atlanta Braves / Montreal Expos
