Here we have a 1996 GT Talera, 18", in "Blue Nova." It's got a nice patina, but still a decent shine too. There definitely are scrapes and marks from use, and from storage. Overall though the paint is in good condition, I see no dents, dings or gouges. The main areas of concern are less visible, specifically underneath the top tube near the Triple Triangle and between the fork and downtube, obviously from storage. Other scrapes are present on the top and down tubes, as well as the chainstays. I don't see any marks from a kickstand installation but there is some paint damage from chainsuck.The OEM GT chainstay protector is present and intact just a bit faded, so I left it on. Decals are mostly intact and bright, though some have storage damage. Please refer to the photos.
The frame is Tange Chromoly steel; the OEM GT fork is Chromoly.I measure the frame to be 18" from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top tube, which itself looks to be 22" long. The original matching 1" quill stem shown is included. The original GT seat post binder bolt is present; I replaced the small rubber O-ring on the nut as they always dry out and crack.You will need a 26.2 mm seat post, and I may still have some that size in stock, please see my other listings. Anything you purchase that fits in the box with the frame comes at no additional shipping cost. So, there's that! The headset will need new grease as the frame will ship with the fork removed.
I've left the rear brake cable routing thingy on the seat tube; I have and will be listing the C-Star rear brake that was on the bike, if interested, message me and/or see my other listings, it may not be listed yet.

I take great pride in the way I pack frames for shipment. I have to use new cardboard boxes from Amazon($12-$15 each)because my local bike shops can't always provide me with boxes in the sizes I need. Smaller frames ship with forks removed (if present), rear triangle blocked with wood, and lots, lots, LOTS of crumpled up newspaper to ensure the frame doesn't move around inside. Larger frames also ship with the rear triangle blocked with wood, and with any fork still attached. I use cardboard bracing in several key spots (front and rear brake bosses, bottom bracket, rear dropouts) along with heavy-duty zip ties to ensure the frame does not move around once the box is closed.The process is tedious but the results are worth it, as my past customers will attest!
