Forsale isa WONDERFUL19c figured walnut inlaid antique restored and repolishedjewellery box. Dates approximately 1850/1890. FULLY LOCKS.
InWONDERFUL restored condition. No missing or replaced veneer. Consideringthe age of the box it isa really superb inlaid Victorian box in great restored condition. Wonderful figured veneer. Inlaid with boxwood and fruitwood banding. Further inlaid with boxwood to the central cartouche and keyhole escucheon. The box is fabulous when you see it in front of you. Rare to find these boxes in this condition.

Comprising a wonderful interiorthat boasts a later wooden tray finished to a superb standard that compliments.This has been relined in expensive velvetmaterial of thehighest quality, the same as the interiorof the box. All the added dividers within the tray can easily be repositionedor removed if desired. The two additional dividers within the base of the box can also be removed or repositioned if desired. The tray canhold a fewrings in an upright position.
Underneaththe additional tray and beneath the base of the box have also been lined invelvet to stop any scratches to other surfaces.
A superb box, and would make afantastic gift.
