Classification: Lunar meteorite

History: Found in Libya and purchased from an Algerian seller

Physical characteristics: Pale gray crystalline stone with minor impact melt veins visible on the cut surface. Fine fractures are observed throughout which have been infilled with terrestrial weathering products.

Petrography: Granulitic achondrite composed of fine-grained anhedral pyroxene and sub- to euhedral olivine enclosed in anorthite. Accessory phases are rare Ti-rich chromite and troilite. Vesicles in the impact melt veins are infilled with gypsum and other terrestrial products. No evidence of additional lithologies is observed.
