Gorgeous Vintage Pair of 2 Caltagirone Majolica Moor\'s Head (Teste di Moro) Ceramic Vases made in Sicily.
The heads are adorned with matching crowns and cascades of pomegranates which signify wealth and fertility.
This pair was both hand molded and hand painted. Bottoms are signed A. Scarlatella.
They are both approximately 4.75\" tall. The woman is just slightly taller than the man.
Overall in very good pre-owned vintage condition. These feel rough but I believe this is from original manufacturing. The man has a BROKEN LEAF on the top pomegranate which was touched up - see last photo.
