The Nanouk plant, also known as Pink Wandering Jew,Fantasy Venice, or Pink Bubblegum Plant, is a vibrant plant with robust stemsand plump leaves,giving it a succulent-like appearance.The leaves are variegated with white,pink, andgreen hues on the top and is a solid purple on the underside. It growsupright and compact but tends to hang as it matures, thus making it a popularchoice for hanging baskets.

INSTRUCTIONS:You may grow the stems in a vase withclean water, but the plants will thrive better in soil. If planting in thesoil, you may plant the unrooted stems immediately. Roots develop within 6 to12 days in ideal conditions. If planting in the soil, make sure to bury thelowest node. (A node is where a leaf originates.) Plant in a nutrient-rich andwell-draining soil. Use a 6-inch-deep pot with proper drainage. Keep the soilmoist but avoid overwatering.

You may plant all thestems close together in a pot or ground if you wish to achieve a thicker andmore lush plant.

This plant grows outdoorsin USDA Zones 9?11 and is well-suited for patios, porches, or indoor spaceswith proper light.

Keep indoors or outdoorsin a warm place with indirect bright light. Patios and porches are ideal. Toomuch sun can scorch the leaves. Insufficient light can cause the leaves to haveless color.

While it can tolerate anysoil that has good drainage, it thrives best in loam soil. A loam soil is atype of soil that is a mixture of sand, silt, andclay. Loam soil holdsnutrients and has a texture that retains water long enough for plant roots toaccess it, yet it drains well. This means that, eventually, the water seepsaway so that plant does not rot.
