This listing is for this beautiful 2018 Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium Quilt in the highly sought-after Ocean Water Perimeter finish. This one has an especially dramatic quilted maple top with a lot of movement and depth depending on the lighting and viewing angle.
I personally imported this guitar from Japan. It is all original and weighs an unusually light 7 lbs. 10 oz., which is fantastic for a Les Paul.
The guitar is in very good used condition overall. It has been played and does show some normal cosmetic wear, including several small finish chips/marks around the edges and back of the body, along with light surface marks and minor play wear. I have photographed the notable areas as clearly as possible, so please review all photos carefully for condition. The front and quilted top present extremely well.
The frets are in great condition with plenty of life remaining. The guitar plays and functions as it should. Smoke free home.
Features include the AAA figured quilted maple top, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, asymmetrical slim-taper neck profile, Burstbucker Pro humbuckers, locking Grover tuners, and Gibson’s push/pull electronics for coil splitting, phase switching, and bypass.
