Group of 3 Romanian/Hungarian folk pottery drinking vessels, rattling Jugs signed "Orosz Andrei, Carei," dated 1966, made as Băile Felix-Oradea.
The largest Cream one is approximately 7" high × 5½" wide, the 2 green vessels are a tad smaller, They have unusual perforated construction and enclosed clay pellets that give off a rattle. The cream vessels’ handle has been cracked on the bottom of handle the med green vessels’ handle is cracked on top and bottom of the handle and the smaller green vessels’ handle has not been cracked at all.
It is not recommended to repair.
The strongest historical document found is the October 1971 issue of the Romanian newspaper Scînteia. It explicitly says "Orosz Andrei, olar vestit"-Orosz Andrei, a well-known potter-and reports that his cooperative was completing an order for Paris, for which he was making vases
