My onions are organically grown with love and care in a small backyard garden for many years.
I don\'t use any chemicals in my garden or in my backyard. For fertilizer I use organic homemade compost from leaves and weed clippings.You will receive 35 freshly picked small bulblets less then 1/2 inch.
I always add a few extra bulblets to order and small bulblets as a gift.

Egyptian Walking Onion plant information:Egyptian Walking Onion is a perennial plant and it will grow from bulb every year. It\'s called walking onion because instead of small seeds it produces clusters of small onion bulbils on top of long green stems and these baby bulbs, called topsets, eventually fall down and grow as new plants, spreading farther and farther as if they are \"walking\".They are good for harvesting from early spring to late autumn. It starts growing as soon as the weather starts to warm up and green stems can even survive for a short time in freezing temperatures. Green onion stems have a very good mild taste. They can be used for salads, soups, omelettes and anywhere else to replace scallions. They can also be dried and ground up to use as a spice.
