How can you give it a \"grade\" if you can\'t see through it to see what grade it would be? In the US we use a CLARITY system for diamonds that is either IF, VVS, VS, SI, I and the word OPAQUE for black diamonds because you cannot see through the black diamond to give it a clarity.
Some countries use the word \"diamond\" for any gemstone or cz. For example, a black gemstone or cz would be called a black diamond, a red gemstone or cz would be called a red diamond, a green gemstone or cz would be called a green diamond etc. That\'s the language they use. This is why you see so many gemstones or cz\'s being called a diamond. In the US we cannot use the word diamond unless it is a real genuine diamond that passes the US rules and guidelines.
