This listing is for a matched pair of Phillips made Mullard Blackburn EL84 tubes that were produced in the Blackburn factory in Gt Britain.

Both these tubes have rX1 tube identification codes so they have matching components from the 1st tooling revision at that plant; and, both of these tubes have codes for the date codes that start with B1G so they’re both 1961 Blackburn factory tubes one has one afterwards and the other has a two afterwards the one was made the first week of July 1961 and one was made the second week of July 1961

So both tubes are from 1961 in July one week apart

These tubes were tested on a calibrated Jackson model 103 where 25 is the minimum good and the average NOS tube of this type test around 38 and these tubes are testing at:

So we have a strong healthy matched pair that has plenty of useful life left in it and was made at the historic Blackburn factory in Great Britain

These tubes are in ruby boxes because their original boxes are no longer present
