Main Features LSM6DSV Motion Sensor
Each tracker uses the LSM6DSV IMU motion sensor, a high-performance sensor option used in many advanced SlimeVR-compatible tracker configurations.
Compared with common BMI270-based tracker builds, the LSM6DSV configuration is designed to provide lower drift, smoother pose response, and better long-session tracking stability. It is also a serious BNO085-class alternative for users who care about consistent avatar movement during VRChat, dancing, and extended VR sessions.
ESP32-C3 Mini Wireless Platform
Avatru uses the ESP32-C3 Mini platform instead of the older ESP8266 platform commonly seen in many DIY-style trackers.
The ESP32-C3 Mini provides improved wireless reliability, stable 2.4GHz WiFi operation, and dependable performance during longer PC VR sessions.
No Base Stations Required
This is an IMU-based wireless tracking system. It does not require Lighthouse base stations, external cameras, or external room tracking hardware.
Long Battery Life
Each tracker includes an 800mAh rechargeable battery and can run for up to 9 hours on a full charge.
Quick-Release Buckle Mount
The quick-release buckle mounting design makes each tracker easy to attach, remove, and reposition while keeping it secure during active movement.
Complete Strap Set Included
The kit includes straps for chest, waist, thighs, and calves/ankles, allowing you to set up a full 6-point tracking system right out of the box.
USB-C Multi-Tracker Charging

Basic Software Setup
- Install SlimeVR Server on your PC.
- Install Java 17+ if required.
- Install SteamVR from Steam.
- Connect each tracker to your PC with the included USB data cable for first-time WiFi setup.
- Enter your 2.4GHz WiFi SSID and password in SlimeVR Server.
- Power on the trackers, start SteamVR, and launch SlimeVR Server.
- Complete standing calibration and body calibration in SlimeVR Server.
WiFi Setup Notes
- Only 2.4GHz WiFi is supported.
- 5GHz WiFi is not supported.
- A PC 2.4GHz hotspot is recommended if your router signal is unstable.
- Use English letters and numbers for the WiFi name when possible.
- Avoid Chinese characters or special symbols in the WiFi SSID.
Wearing Tips
- Attach each tracker firmly to reduce sliding or shaking.
- Place calf/ankle trackers close to the ankles for better lower-leg tracking.
- Keep the logo/front side facing the correct direction during setup.
- Keep the charging port facing downward when possible.
- Complete calibration carefully for best tracking results.
