Boeing 707-421, registered 9Y-TDQ, flew for BWIA West Indies Airways as part of the Trinidad and Tobago flag carrier\'s fleet of 707s supporting long-haul international routes connecting the Caribbean to London and other destinations. BWIA operated as the region\'s primary long-haul international carrier for decades before the airline\'s 2006 restructuring into Caribbean Airlines, with 9Y-TDQ supporting BWIA\'s role connecting Trinidad and other Caribbean islands to distant international markets during the carrier\'s early jet age.
