Airfix Products A05281V 1:72 RAF Rescue Launch Ship Plastic Model Kit For Sale

During World War II, the Royal Air Force Sea Rescue Service operated high-speed launches to recover downed aircrew from the waters around the British Isles. The Type Two 63ft HSL, known as the “Whaleback,” was one of the most iconic of these vessels, powered by three Napier Sea Lion engines and designed by the British Power Boat Company.
